Key Stage 3: 11-14: OWLS
All subjects are supported throughout Key Stage 3.
Mathematics: Students will be confident with algebra, simultaneous equations and geometry; they will understand some of the more complicated theories such as Pythagoras’ Theorem, and be familiar with formulae, such as the formula used to calculate the circumference of a circle.
English: Students will be encouraged to develop their own personal style of writing; how to present thoughts, ideas and information clearly and logically. As pupils progress they will understand more and more about how words and language work; they will discover how to produce writing that is interesting, lively and original through the production of creative writing; persuasive writing; informative writing; reflective or analytical writing.
Key Stage 4/GCSE: SENIOR OWLS
Here at Wise Owl Learning, we offer a variety of support for GCSE pupils including: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, History, Geography, Ethics and Philosophy, and other subjects on application. Our tutors are experienced and knowledgeable and will not only offer academic support, but will build confidence and prepare for examinations. All examination board curriculums are covered and extensive revision techniques, to suit individual preferences, are always structured.
